T O P I C R E V I E WSparkR_13Does anyone have information about this patch? I have been trying to research this and find nothing matching. I do believe it was somehow related to the ARISS program with the schools. This is the 5" patch with ESA, ISS, and STS-121 up and STS-116 down. Thomas Reiter was the ESA astronaut on those flights via the ISS. I always seek the mission behind the patch and if possible the design meaning of the patch.hoorenzI believe it is simply a rejected proposal for a name and an insignia for what ultimately became the Astrolab mission.Harald KraenzelErik is correct: For what Detlev van Ravenwaay told me there have been some more designs for that mission which were rejected by ESA.Some short infos about them and mainly for ASTROLAB can be found here.
